All barns at Shinmura Ranch are constructed with wood. KoDaKa Ranch has also been renovated from steel-framed barns to wooden structures. The cattle enjoy plush straw bedding using locally sourced timber from Kimotsuki Town. At Shinmura Ranch, the cows thrive and grow leisurely amidst the expansive natural surroundings.

We are committed to rice cultivation using nutrient-rich paddies fertilized with our in-house compost and pristine local water from the Kunimi mountain range. The harvested rice is available for purchase at Shinmura Livestock Fresh Meat Store and as a gift for hometown tax donations. Moreover, you can enjoy our rice at Shinmura Livestock Yakiniku Restaurant. Every year around September, the glossy and delicious new rice is showcased at both the fresh meat store and the Yakiniku restaurant.
